Dodgers Draft A Right Handed Pitcher In The First Round

The 2020 Draft Begins

In the last mock draft for experts Jim Callis and Jonathan Mayo predicted right handed pitcher Slade Cecconi, from Miami, would be drafted by the Dodgers. With many mock drafts being messed up within the first few draft picks, the Dodgers ended up with Bobby Miller, another right handed pitcher. Miller is from Louisville and was a teammate of Devin Mann.

We will provide a further breakdown of the draft both here and at Dodgers Nation with coverage of each player selected. At Dodgers Nation we were able to get a breakdown of a few players with Kiley McDaniel of ESPN. The draft is still an inexact science but the Dodgers have had some good picks over the last few seasons. Their 2016 draft was elite so let’s hope for a repeat.
