We are going to start our Trade Deadline page, this year, a bit earlier than normal. We’ve done this every year since 2018 when we were with Dodgers Nation.
The Dodgers enter the last week with many concerns as injuries have wrecked the team. Two of the biggest question marks are Yoshinobu Yamamoto and Max Muncy. There is not a full-time replacement for Muncy’s bat or his spot on the field. He was having an excellent start to 2024. Yamamoto is starting to throw but with so many pitchers getting hurt, they are all question marks. “Pitchers break” and “You can never have enough pitching”. It sure would have been smart to sign Blake Snell when they had the chance.
As I’ve done in the past, we’ll work from the bottom up. The newest news will be at the top. The deadline is 3:00 PM PST on July 30th, but we know the trades will trickle in until about 4:00 PM. We will be here.
