Before the pre-season and the beginning of the regular season was so rudely interrupted by the COVID-19 virus, the Dodgers made some roster transactions. The following non-40 man roster players were sent to Oklahoma City to begin the season in AAA:
Matt Lipka, Casey Crosby, Daniel Corcino, Blake Gailen
These players on the 40 man roster were also sent to AAA:
Zach McKinstry, DJ Peters, Luke Raley, Keibert Ruiz, Josh Sborz, Mitchell White, Victor Gonzalez
There were a couple of players that got some bad news. Joe Broussard was released out of the Dodgers organization. The other was the curious case of Yadier Alvarez. The Dodgers were looking to activate Alvarez from the restricted list. Right before his appearance he was injured. Dodgers Nation has a full write up on the details. At the end of the day he was activated to the 40 man roster, designated for assignment and was sent to AAA. With his injury, Alvarez will probably not appear for the AAA Dodgers until much later in the season.
One player to keep note of is Casey Crosby. He has major league service time and looks like he is on his way back.
Congrats to Casey Crosby on signing with the #Dodgers! https://t.co/KUuBkdxTU4

With everything being postponed, there is a freeze on future roster moves for now.
