About a week ago, Midland, Michigan, home of the Dodgers’ low-A affiliate, the Great Lakes Loons, suffered a devastating flood as the Edenville Dam had been breached.
We seriously appreciate all of the kind words from our fans, our friends in @MiLB, and beyond. Midland and the surrounding areas will need all of our support in the coming days. Stay safe and stay strong.

Earlier today, the Loons retweeted a tweet from the United Way Midland twitter account that provided their followers with ways to help out the city of Midland in this time of need.
It's only been one week, exactly seven days since our county was turned upside down. While the waters have receded, the work is only just beginning.
