Sheldon Neuse tied the game up tonight, April 21st against the Padres with a home run off of Emilio Pagan. It was his first home run in the Major Leagues and his first hit as a member of the Dodgers.

Neuse was called up last week and had not had any success at the plate so far this season. I’m sure it was a huge relief for him and gave the fans something to be pleased about. When you start 0 for your Dodgers career fans notice.
Later in the game, Neuse came up with the bases loaded and hit a shot that Jake Crownenworth made an amazing play on. What would have put the Dodgers ahead ended up as a double play. In the end, the Dodgers ended up losing to San Diego, 3-2.

He also helped turn a double play in the 8th inning with a very strong throw.
Despite the loss, it was great to see Sheldon Neuse start crushing the ball and we hope it continues.
