OKC Dodgers
The Dodgers lost 8-5 despite Drew Avans having 3 hits. The centerfielder has been on fire for the last month and a half. Jason Martin hit his 18th home run on the season. Don’t be surprised if he doesn’t get called up if another MLB Dodger outfielders gets hurt. Miguel Vargas had his 100th hit on the season and started at third base.
Drew Avans hit the 1st pitch of the OKC game up the middle for a base hit. @AvansDrew has now reached base in 26 consecutive games, has a 6-game hit streak, and is 6 for his last 15. That's coming off the heels of June when he hit .326 with an OPS of .965. #dodgers pic.twitter.com/GwO02NARjE

The Drillers lost a tough one in Springfield tonight, 13-5, but, Devin Mann had a home run and a double. Mann has the potential to be a great offensive player, and has a great combo of size and athletic ability for 2nd base! Keep your eye on him! #dodgers pic.twitter.com/DO9QgSyHGn

Great Lakes Loons
The Loons won a nail-biter 2-1 as right-hander Emmet Sheehan went 5 scoreless innings with 10 Ks. He has been very good lately. C Diego Cartaya, LF Harold Restituyo, and 1B Imanol Vargas each had two hits to key the win.
Emmet Sheehan is on fire! He tossed 5.0 scoreless, striking out 10⬇️ (9/10 swinging), allowing just a pair of hits (one was a fly ball lost in the lights). Pxp had him up to 98 several times ⛽️
In his last six outings:
22.2 IP
10 hits
1 run (unearned)
6 BBs
40 Ks 🥵 pic.twitter.com/J2gfvGX5aO— Josh Thomas (@jokeylocomotive) July 15, 2022
Rancho Cucamonga Quakes
The Quakes had a big 8-2 win with a big 3-run home run for Jake Vogel. It was his first of the season as he has really heated up. After a slow start he slashed .319/.338/.406. in June and .282/.462/.436 so far in July. Damon Keith hit his 11th homer among his 3 hits and Luis Diaz hit his 7th (quick commentary: Keith should be promoted). Luis Rodriguez also had 2 hits.
In his Quakes debut, former SS Jose Ibarra pitched two shutout innings. Jerming Rosario went 4 innings and gave up only 1 run.

ACL Dodgers
The Dodgers got home runs from DH Thayron Liranzo (6) and 3B Andy Espinosa (4) to lead to a 12-3 win. Espinosa went 3 for 3 while Wilman Diaz and Rayne Doncon had two hits each. Christian Romero stood out on the mound with 3 IP and 4 strikeouts.
Dodgers Wilman Diaz bat hasnt caught fire yet in the Arizona Complex League but boy is he making plays at SS. 2 outstanding plays in the top of the 4th. One to his left, one to his right, kid can flash the leather.
