OKC Dodgers
Jon Duplantier, who the Dodgers got in the minor league draft in 2021, was excellent as the starter. He went 4 innings while giving up 2 hits, no runs, 1 walk and 3 strikeouts. Beau Burrows followed him on the mound and only gave up 1 run in 5 innings as the Dodgers won 8-1.
James Outman has now homered in 2 games in a row and this time it was a Grand Slam! Again, noting that Miguel Vargas played in left field again.
Tulsa Drillers
The Drillers came up short, 3-1. Brandon Lewis hit a home run again as he also hit one yesterday. Gavin Stone had a rough start but he’ll be back on track next time. He’s been great this season. The bullpen was excellent as they went 4 innings and only gave up 2 hits and no runs. Of note it was Kody Hoese‘s 25th birthday. Happy birthday, Kody. The other Cody (Cody Bellinger) also had his birthday.

Great Lakes Loons
The Loons won the game in 11 innings, 5-4. The bullpen pitched 7 innings, giving up only 1 unearned run, 4 hits, 0 walks and 10 strikeouts. Braydon Fisher ended up with the win with 2 innings and 4 strikeouts. Jorbit Vivas homered for the 2nd game in a row and Alex De Jesus had two hits.
Rancho Cucamonga Quakes
The big news before the game was that Edgardo Henriquez was brought off the injured list. He had not pitched since late May and he did have a rough start. He’s going to be a good one.
For the game, the Quakes ended up losing 9-4. Both Austin Gauthier and Griffin Lockwood-Powell homered. Both were signed as undrafted free agents after the 2021 draft and are making an impact.
