Many of us in Southern California were hoping that catcher Diego Cartaya would play in Rancho Cucamonga with the Quakes. He began the season with an injury so he stayed behind when the minors rosters were announced. Fortunately, we got our wish when the Quakes announced that Cartaya would make his debut tonight, May 25th, 2021, with them.
Blue sure does look good on Diego. #Dodgers no. 6 prospect Diego Cartaya makes his Quakes debut tonight, starting behind the plate and hitting fifth in the order. We're amped. pic.twitter.com/V9J4yQOB80

The sad news was that catcher Marco Hernandez was sent to the so-called “Development List”. We hope to see Marco back soon.
The top prospect lists for the Dodgers all have Cartaya as a highly ranked prospect and he will be one of the top prospects in baseball soon. It is great that the people of Southern California will be able to see Diego in action. We at Dodgers 2080 hope to see him soon.
He did see action in the game and had a single and an RBI.

If you have the chance to see Cartaya in action with the Quakes you might want to get there soon. I can see him being promoted quickly.
