Dodgers Named To Arizona Fall League
Seven prospects for the Dodgers were named to Arizona Fall League rosters. This is an honor for these gentlemen.i
Andy Pages
Andy Pages is one of the top 5-6 prospects for the Dodgers. Primarily a right fielder in Double-A, he has slugged 26 home runs so far in 2022. For the season he has slashed .236/.339/.473 (AVG/OBP/SLG). He is a lock to be on the 40-man roster this off-season and will continue to show off his great power and throwing arm. We wrote about him after last season.
Jose Ramos
Jose Ramos began the year in Single-A ball before his promotion to High-A. Like Pages, he has great power and a strong arm. In 2022 he almost split time in center and right field equally. He slashed .249/.339/.479 with 25 home runs for the season. Ramos is a consensus top 20 prospect on the Dodgers. We highlighted Ramos in an article last season.
Jorbit Vivas
Jorbit Vivas spent the whole season at High-A after being named to the 40-man roster after 2021. He played 75% of his games at second base and 25% at third. He slashed .269/.374/.401 which is down from his 2021 slash at High-A of .318/.422/.424 in 24 games. Look for a big rebound for Vivas in 2023.
Emmet Sheehan
Emmet Sheehan was the Dodgers 6th round pick in 2021 out of Boston College. After limited professional action on 2021, Sheehan started the 2022 season with the High-A Great Lakes Loons and dominated. He threw 63.2 innings and stuck out 101 batters while giving up only 41 hits with a 2.83 ERA. This got him a late season call-up to Double-A for the stretch run. Sheehan is creeping up the top prospect lists and look at him to become a big prospect in 2023.
Emmet Sheehan tossed a career high 6.0 scoreless innings, striking out 6 with no walks, FB was 95-97 t99 (stadium gun is ~2 mph behind Hawkeye).
In his last 8 outings, spanning 36.2 IP, he has an ERA of 1.23, with a K/BB of 52/13. pic.twitter.com/Diy5GYVj6S

Tanner Dodson
The Dodgers acquired Tanner Dodson from the Rays, before the regular season, for Luke Raley. It was a rough year but the Dodgers believe in him, as evidenced by his placement in the AFL. He got off to a slow start but, after spending some time in Arizona at the training complex, he was much improved.
Tanner Dodson turned in his 7th scoreless performance in a row and has given up just 1 run since the beginning of August. #dodgers pic.twitter.com/IWU0TvQWvx

Hyun-Il Choi
The 2022 season was mostly lost to injury for Hyun-Il Choi. Being named to an AFL roster allows Choi to salvage part of 2022. He had made great progress in 2021 and was considered a top 30 prospect. Hopefully, this fall, he can begin his journey back.
Ben Harris
Ben Harris pitched half of his games with the Quakes and the other half with the Loons. He established himself as one of the top strikeout artists in the minor leagues. For the season he struck out 107 batters in 55.2 innings. That is almost two batters per inning waling back to the bench in shame. The eighth round draft pick in the 2021 draft is making himself into a relief candidate for the Dodgers in the next couple of years.
Ben Harris completed his 15th scoreless performance in a row & 26th of the year. He has given up just 1 run in his last 22 innings & has 35 Ks & just 7 walks during that span. Even more incredible, he hasn't given up a hit in his last 14 outings which spans 17.2 innings. #dodgers pic.twitter.com/laOrjg8EQa
