Adam Kolarek is an established Major League reliever while Cody Thomas has not made his MLB debut, yet, Thomas was a star in 2020 Spring Training and was the Dodgers #29 prospect. I have a soft spot for Thomas as he was the first player I ever interviewed.
Sheldon Neuse was the #5 prospect for the A’s and has already made his MLB debut in 2019. His slash in AAA in 2019 was .317/.389/.550. (AVG/OBP/SLG). Gus Varland is recovering from Tommy John surgery in early 2019 and was the #28 prospect with the A’s. His highest level was High-A ball in 2019.
We’ll have more details later.
