In tonight’s (April 3rd) game against the Colorado Rockies, Zach McKinstry hit his first Major League home run. The ball was over the left-field fence but Raimel Tapia got a glove on it to bring it back into the playing area. Unfortunately for Tapia, he has slightly injured on the play, which allowed McKinstry to motor around the bases for an inside-the-park home run. Not only was it his first career home run but it put the Dodgers in the lead, 5-4.
The inside-the-park home run also put McKinstry in very rare company. As Sarah Langes points out the last Dodger to hit an inside-the-parker for their first career home run was Hall of Famer Duke Snider.
What a great way to get the season off the ground for Zach McKinstry.as he also has a double on the season. His efforts helped the Dodgers pull off a 6-5 victory. As the lone rookie on the team, we will keep track of him and his progress.

Have you ever thought about adding a little bit more than just
your articles? I mean, what you say is valuable and everything.
However imagine if you added some great visuals or videos to give your posts more, “pop”!
Your content is excellent but with pics and video clips, this website could certainly be one of the most
beneficial in its niche. Good blog!
Working on it for sure. Thanks for the feedback.
