Dave Roberts Noncommittal on Rotation Shakeup as Blake Snell‘s Return Nears

Dave Roberts isn’t tipping his hand on what happens to the back end of our rotation once Blake Snell comes off the injured list. Roberts gave a short “yes” when asked whether the next couple of weeks are important for the current backend starters, per DodgerBlue.com staff. Snell is on track to be activated at some point this month, and somebody’s spot is going to disappear — Roberts just isn’t saying whose yet. This is the kind of quiet competition that can define a roster for the rest of the season (and this one bears watching).
